Be courteous
Courtesy is a Chinese idiom. Pinyin is l ǐ sh ù NR é NQ í ng, which means courtesy is the norm that people must abide by when they coexist with each other. It comes from the biography of Zhuo Mao in the book of the later Han Dynasty.

Idiom story
At the end of the Western Han Dynasty, Zhuo Mao, an official in the prime minister Kong Guang's mansion, was very generous and sophisticated. As a result, he became a county magistrate. Someone reported to him that the pavilion chief had accepted his rice and meat. He asked whether he would take the initiative to give gifts or ask for bribes. The man said that he was giving gifts on his own initiative. According to the law, he can't collect property. Zhuo Mao said that he took the initiative to give the gift, which is in line with human feelings.
