fable story
During the Warring States period, King Xuan of Qi liked music, especially playing Yu. He had 300 musicians who were good at playing Yu. King Xuan of Qi liked to be lively and ostentatious. He always wanted to show the dignity of being a king in front of people. So every time he listened to Yu, he always asked these 300 people to play together. When a scholar named Nanguo heard that King Xuan of Qi liked to listen to ensembles, he thought that there was an opportunity to make money. So he went to King Xuan of Qi and boasted about himself, saying, "king, people who have heard me play Yu are not moved. Even birds and animals can dance when they listen to it, and flowers and plants can dance when they listen to it. I would like to present my unique skills to the king." King Xuan of Qi was glad to hear that, so he accepted him and put him in the team of 300 people. From then on, Nanguo Chushi accompanied the 300 people to listen to King Xuan of Qi. He enjoyed the same generous treatment and was very proud. In fact, Nanguo Chushi could not play Yu at all. Every time he played, Nanguo Chushi would mix in the team with Yu. People would shake his body, he would shake his body, people would shake his head, he would also shake his head, and his face would be emotional and selfless. He looked more involved than others. In this way, Nanguo Chushi cheated day after day and got rich salary for nothing. But it didn't last long. A few years later, King Xuan of Qi, who loved to listen to Yu ensemble, died, and his son king min of Qi succeeded to the throne. Qi minwang also likes playing Yu, but he likes listening to solo. So king Qi Min issued an order, asking the 300 people to take turns to play Yu for him to appreciate. Nanguo Chushi was as anxious as an ant on a hot pot. After thinking about it, he felt that he could not get through this time any more, so he had to pack up all night and run away.
