Huang Er Chuan Shu
Jin Lu Ji, a dog, said Huang er. I have no letter from my family for a long time. One day, the play language dog said: "can you carry books with you?" Dog likes to shake its tail. Machine then for the book, Sheng with bamboo, Department dog neck. Dog by post road, day and night. When they read books, their families turned back to Lu Ji. Dog is on the road, over mountains, galloping to the capital. In the meantime, thousands of miles away, people travel back and forth for 50 years, while dogs are only 20 years old. After the dog died, the machine buried, called "yellow ear grave.". (adapted from Shuyi Ji)
Shuyi Ji
Ren Fang, a famous litterateur of the Liang Dynasty in the Southern Dynasty, compiled (460-508), two volumes. Ren Fang was born in BoChang, Le'an (now Shouguang, Shandong Province). He was good at writing books and practical prose. It was first found in the novel category of Chongwen Zongmu, but not recorded before Tang Dynasty, so it is very suspicious. In front of the book, there is an anonymous preface, which says that Ren Fang "collected 30000 volumes of books at home, so there are many anecdotes. He collected them from his secretary and wrote two volumes of new Shuyi Ji". It can be seen that he followed the title of Zu Chongzhi's book. Yan Kejun and Lu Xinyuan proofread Song Dynasty (?) This Chuxueji quoted renfang's shuyiji, which seems to have existed in the Tang Dynasty. But the story of Xiaochang in the later Wei Dynasty and Heqing in the Northern Qi Dynasty is behind Ren Fang, at least not the original. Many materials in the book can be found in other ancient books. Most of the stories are anecdotes, which are similar to the natural history, but the story is not so good. The general catalogue of Sikuquanshu holds that "the book of shuyiji, which is quoted by the later generations, is full of miscellaneous notes of other books.". There are more than 300 articles in this edition, just like Zuchongzhi's shuyiji, which is also a record of strange things. It rarely involves the very common Buddhist content at that time, but the subject matter is much more extensive and rich than Zuchongzhi's shuyiji. Myths and legends, mountains and rivers, historical sites, folklore, historical anecdotes, rare birds and precious flowers, etc. are all recorded, and the contents are quite complicated. Among them, the data items are similar to Zhang Hua's natural history, but more abundant than the natural history. For example, Jingwei reclamation and Wuling Taohuayuan all put several historical statements in order, and then made a choice. In addition, some of the ballads and proverbs collected in the book can also show the social atmosphere and folk customs at that time. In addition, many articles also quoted some previous poems and Fu articles, some of which have been lost, which shows the valuable information. there is a series of sui'an books, which is based on the scriptures of Lin'an Fu Yin's family in the Southern Song Dynasty. Now: Ren Fang's Shuyi Ji, Jilin University Press, 1992.
supplement
Song Dynasty you Mao's "poetry of the whole Tang Dynasty · Seng lingche" said: "the green fly is the hanger, the yellow dog sends the letter." Su Shi's poem "Guo Xin Xi Liu Shi Xiang Ren Shi Zhong" said: "the sushi side will be based on the white feet, and it's boring to attach a book to Huang er." The second fold of the fifth book of the romance of the west chamber by Wang Shifu of the Yuan Dynasty: "if you don't hear the sound of yellow dog, you can hardly see the poem of red leaf, and the post leader doesn't meet the plum blossom envoy.". Huang Er Chuan Shu also appeared many times in later generations.
translation
Lu Ji, a poet of the Jin Dynasty, raised a dog of Tang Zongyuan's breed called "Huang Er". Lu Ji was an official in the capital (Luoyang). He didn't receive a letter from his family for a long time. He was worried about what happened at home. One day, Lu Ji jokingly said to his dog, "can you run home with letters to get information?" The dog is happy and wags its tail. Lu Ji immediately wrote a letter, put it in a bamboo tube and tied it to Huang er's neck. The dog drove day and night through the special road for the carriage. When the family saw Luji's letter, they wrote back to Luji. The dog immediately set out on the road, all the way over the mountains, straight to the capital. The distance between hometown and Luoyang is thousands of miles. It takes 50 days for people to walk back and forth, while it only takes more than 20 days for dogs. Later, when the dog died, Lu Ji buried it in his hometown and took the inscription as "Huang Er Zhong".

Post road. Post road is also called post road. It is our country's ancient traffic Avenue, just like the modern highway - of course, the road surface is much worse than the modern highway. Every other distance on the post road, for example, 50 Li or 100 Li, set up a station called "post". If there is a horse on the post station, it is called "post horse"; if there is a carriage, it is called "post car". If the government has urgent official documents to transmit, or pursues important criminals, the messenger or the wanted can use the post horse or the post car to exchange one station at a time and move forward quickly.
