"Good guy" is a gangster crime film directed by Martin Scorsese, starring Robert De Niro, ray Lyotard, Joe Percy, Ronan Blake, etc.

Synopsis

In 1955, Henry, a middle school student in East Brooklyn, New York City, USA, hated learning when he was a child, but he longed to become a gangster and live in high spirits. He played truant for gangsters and made trouble everywhere. Once, he was arrested for selling smuggled cigarettes, but insisted not to disclose his accomplice to the police. His practice was appreciated by the godfather of the gang, Paulie ciseno, and since then he officially joined the gang and became the backbone. Henry and his accomplices, Jimi and Tommy, organized robbery, murder and all kinds of illegal business. Under the introduction of Tommy, Henry met Karen, a girl born into a middle-class family, and soon they fell in love and got married. Billy, the gangster's little head, has offended the irascible Tommy. Tommy, together with Jimmy and Henry, secretly killed Billy and destroyed his body. Shortly afterwards, Henry and Jimmy were arrested and jailed for beating debtors. When Karen visited with her children, she told Henry that the Mafia did not take care of them as promised. In order to solve the family's livelihood, Henry started the drug trade in prison. In 1980, Henry, together with his old friends, Tommy and Jimmy, planned a huge robbery. Six million dollars of stolen money led to internal disputes within the gang, and the police began a large-scale search. Many of the participants were arrested, and Tommy was executed by the Mafia for exposing Billy's assassination. Desperate Henry had to go to Godfather Paulie, but he was mercilessly refused. Unable to escape the pursuit of the police, Henry had to turn himself in. In court, he exposed the whereabouts of Paulie, Jimmy and others. In order to protect the safety of the witness, the FBI secretly sent Henry to a place in Canada. Henry changed his name and began a new life.
