Dainiupeidu is a Chinese idiom, pronounced D à ini ú P è ID ú, which refers to the change of industry to agriculture. It comes from volume 89 of Hanshu, biography of Xunli · biography of Gong Sui.
interpretation
Dainiupeidu originally refers to the emperor Xuandi of the Han Dynasty, when Gong, the governor of the Bohai Sea, lured the peasants with swords to give up armed struggle and engage in farming. Later generations used the metaphor of "carrying a cow and carrying a calf" to refer to the canon of returning to agriculture.
