Men and women
An inch of a man and a foot of a woman, a Chinese idiom, Pinyin is C ù NN á NCH ǐ n ǚ, which means a man and a half of a woman. It comes from the contract text of Yuan Dynasty.
The origin of Idioms
In Yuan Dynasty, Wu Mingshi's "contract text" is a fold: "his family is from Xiama village, Gaoping County, Luzhou. His family name is Zhang, his name is Bingyi, his family name is Hun, his family members are two direct relatives, and there are no men or women."
