Every inch is flawed
Chi Yu cunxia, a Chinese idiom, is ch ǐ y ú C ù nxi á in pinyin, which means a large piece of jade with a small defect. It refers to a good talent with small defects. It comes from the praise of baozhenzhai Dharma book, Jiang Guanwen's second praise of Qiantang Tianfu.
The origin of Idioms
Yue Ke of Song Dynasty wrote "praise of baozhenzhai Dharma book · praise of Jiang Guanwen's two stickers to Tianfu of Qiantang": "if there is a flaw in one's work, one will not abandon it."
