Idiom story
Lu Sidao, a poet of Sui Dynasty, was born in Zhuozhou, Hebei Province. When he was 16 years old, he met Liu Song and wrote an inscription for him. He asked Lu Sidao to read it. He didn't understand many things. Feeling this, he closed his door to study. Several years later, Lu Sidao took out his own articles, which Liu song could not understand. Lu Sidao said with emotion: "learning brings harvest. We can't let time go for nothing!" after a few years, he started his official career with both talent and learning. It was Lu Sidao, who "studied in a closed family" and eventually achieved success, who was sent by Emperor Wen of Sui Dynasty Yang Jian to set up an altar to offer sacrifices to Chaohu God in the first year of kaihuang's reign. Lu Sidao's poems can be divided into ancient poems and Yuefu Poems with different styles. Most of the Yuefu Poems imitated the erotic poems of the Southern Dynasties, which were obviously influenced by the gorgeous and soft poems of the Southern Qi Dynasty. However, Congjun Xing changed the traditional five character short poem into seven character long poem, which combined the lovesickness and sorrow of missing a woman with the constant fighting life. It integrated the soft and gentle sentiment into the vigorous and elegant momentum, and combined the northern and southern style of writing well. Most of the ancient poems are gifts, entertainment and chanting things, but they are not very innovative in content, but they are good at pondering a kind of strange and mysterious sentiment from the beautiful and distant scenery. Listening to chanting cicadas corresponds to the wailing of tourists with the cicada's voice, and contrasts the earthly vulgarity with the cicada's noble quality, so as to express the author's desire to be born, and create a way of composing chanting things and expressing emotion in later generations. Lu Sidao's poems had a great influence on the song of the early Tang Dynasty. This is the collection of Lu Wuyang.
