Bow back
It is a Chinese idiom. Pinyin is B è IQ ǔ y ā og ō ng, which means bent back. It often refers to sitting for a long time or old age. It's from the second moment of surprise.
The idiom comes from Ling Mengchu of Ming Dynasty, Volume 40 of "the heart of the waiting is warm and the heart of the waiting is crying, the sitting comes and bows."
