Idioms and allusions
"Gubu Zifeng" is a combination of "Gubu" and "Zifeng". "Gubu" can be seen in the book of Han, volume 1000, Xuzhuan. The content is about ban Biao, a litterateur of the Eastern Han Dynasty, studying with his cousin ban Si when he was young. Bansi's family has a large collection of books, and many people come to borrow books from his family. Although ban Si also studied Confucianism, he preferred Lao Zhuang's theory. He believed that Lao Zhuang's theory advocated nature and not pursued everything that the secular world valued, which was different from Confucianism's emphasis on loyalty, filial piety, benevolence and righteousness. Therefore, when someone asked him to borrow Lao Zhuang's book to read, he advised his friend to give up the idea. Now that you have learned Confucianism, don't read Lao Zhuang any more, so that you don't have to learn the graceful steps of Zhao people like Yan people in Zhuangzi. As a result, not only did you fail, you forgot the way you used to walk, so you had to crawl back home. The source of the dictionary here uses "Gubu". "Self styled" can be seen in Jin Yu's duanjiu Jie. In this paper, the author expounds the reasons for abstinence, and thinks that indulgence in drinking will harm the nature of innocence. So the author broke all the drinking utensils, such as wine cups and bottles, to show his determination to give up drinking. After hearing this, a friend who drank too much retorted angrily, saying: "wine has always been loved by people since ancient times, even ancient sages are no exception, and they will not lose their nature. It's just a taboo to break the wine vessel and do such self restriction, but what's the use of thinking about it in your heart? " Yu Chan replied: "when I was born, I didn't have any desire, but later I gradually developed my desire, which was influenced by the surrounding things. If these incentives are eradicated, the heart will not be ready to move. The heart can calm down, will be happy, will not be disturbed by desire. So taboos are not just taboos, but also taboos. " After listening to this, my friend thought it was reasonable and said it was. The source of the code here uses "self sealing". Later, the two words were combined into "complacent", used to refer to content with the status quo, do not want to make progress.
