Li Bohu
Li Bohu, born in Shanghai on November 27, 1938, is an expert in system simulation and manufacturing informatization, academician of Chinese Academy of engineering, honorary Dean of School of Automation Science and electrical engineering of Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and consultant of science and Technology Commission of Aerospace Science and industry group.
Li Bohu graduated from the computer major of automatic control department of Tsinghua University in 1961 and worked in the second Academy of Aerospace Industry Corporation. He was a visiting scholar at the University of Michigan from 1980 to 1982. From 1986 to 1993, he served as director of 204 Institute of the second Academy of Aerospace Industry Corporation and director of Beijing simulation center. In 1993, he served as deputy director and executive deputy director of science and Technology Committee of the second Academy of Aerospace Science and industry group He was elected as academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2003, Dean of School of Automation Science and electrical engineering of Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics from 2003 to 2010, and won the lifetime achievement award of International Society for modeling and Simulation in 2012.
Li Bohu has been engaged in simulation computer system, system optimization, digital simulation software, distributed simulation, general technology of modern integrated manufacturing system, concurrent engineering and virtual manufacturing for a long time.

On March 25, 2012, he won the international society for modeling and simulation (SCS) lifetime achievement award, was selected into the hall of fame, and was the first Asian.

In the field of system simulation, Li Bohu proposed a new design method for the accuracy and stability of large simulator. Led the development of parameter, curve and statistical optimizer on hybrid computer. Presided over the development of the first large-scale continuous system simulation language and the first complex system simulation language in China. New algorithms for discontinuous nonlinear dynamic system simulation and continued fraction based simulation are proposed. Put forward the concept, technical system and overall scheme of concurrent simulation engineering, simulation grid, cloud simulation, virtual prototype engineering and high performance simulation computer, and lead the implementation. In the field of manufacturing informatization, the concept and technical system of modern integrated manufacturing system are proposed. Put forward the concept, technical system and overall plan of complex product integrated manufacturing system, manufacturing grid and cloud manufacturing, and lead the implementation.
