Zhu Jinhua studied drama at an early age. He changed his ugly behavior after learning from an old student. He first joined Rongchun society, and then transferred to Shanghai Xiasheng drama school. Zhu Jinhua's father, Zhu Binxian, is an artist of Beijing Opera clowns. His father is as famous as Xiao Changhua, Ma Fulu and Ru Fuhui, and is known as "four famous clowns". Zhu Jinhua's uncle is Mr. Qiu Shengrong, a Peking Opera performer. His mother is Mei Lanfang's cousin. His mother is Qiu Shengrong's sister.
