The 13th generation of she family in Chaozhou, whose initial name was Bomei, later changed to Yanxue and named Meizhou, was born in Shangshe (now Yuzhou Longtou village, Longhu District, Shantou City), Pengzhou duyuzhou Township, Chenghai County, Chaozhou Prefecture, in the early Qing Dynasty.
