During the reign of Shaoxing in the Song Dynasty, he was elected as an official of Changxing County and moved to Shengxian County, followed by Zhenjiang county and Lin'an County. In the seventh year of Qiandao reign of Xiaozong (1171), he knew Jizhou, changed it to Fuzhou (54, 55 of 61 official titles in Song Hui yao ji draft), and finally came to Yongzhou (now Lingling, Hunan). He died in 1173.

Zeng Xie
（？ - 1173) in the same season, named Yunzhuang. Nanfeng (now Jiangxi Province) people. Poets of the Southern Song Dynasty. A famous official of the Song Dynasty. Zeng Zhaozhi's grandson. Zeng Gong's nephew and grandson.
Good at poetry and prose. It is known as "Nanfeng Qizeng" (Zeng Gong, Zeng Zhao, Zeng Bu, Zeng Yu, Zeng Dan, Zeng Xie, Zeng Dun).
His work was compiled by his son Zeng Yan into 20 volumes of Yunzhuang collection, but it has not been handed down for a long time. According to Yongle Dadian, some of his works were discovered by the officials of Siku Library in Qing Dynasty, and they compiled five volumes of Yunzhuang collection (see related poems and articles in this collection and Fu Boshou's preface attached). In addition, there is one volume of Yunzhuang Ci, 14 works in quansong Ci and 16 poems in Jiangxi Shizheng. One of them, Ba Hua, is fresh and compact. It is a masterpiece of chanting things and is widely spread. Zeng Xie's poems are based on the photocopies of "Sikuquanshu · Yunzhuang collection" by wenyuange, and the fragmentary edition of "Yongle Dadian" and "Yuzhang series" (Yuzhang edition for short). The new collection of poems is attached at the end of the volume.
