Yi Zongxi (1682-1776) was born in Xiangxiang, Hunan Province, with the name of Gongshen and Shi'an. Scholars in Qing Dynasty. Because the Yi clan and the Qing government repeatedly affirmed his filial piety and his father Yi Zhenyan, he was known as a filial son among the people.

Life of the characters

Yi Zongxi was born as a supervisor. In 1724, he was 42 years old and in charge of Yuelu Academy. In the fourth year, when he was 46 years old, he wrote Xiangxiang county annals. In the first year of Qianlong (1736), he and his elder brother Zongying held the same erudite ci poetry, which made him famous in the capital. He was praised as the brothers of Luji and Luyun by the people of that time, and he taught in Shenjun palace for seven years. Later, he lived in the countryside.

personal works

The thirteen volumes of the chronicle of the teeth of the celebrities in the past dynasties have been collected from the birth to the examination of longevity. The style is like a kind of book, and the collection is related to historical events. The original Shenjun king and Chen Pengnian preface. In 1725, there was a printed edition of the book Hall granted by the Yi family in Xiangxiang. The four volumes of Zhao Gongyi's real political record, Xing Li Jing Yan, an Ting Ou Tan, and Banxia Lou's recent manuscript are printed in the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty and in the 37th year of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty (1772). The volume of five classics differentiation, four books annotation and Zhouzi Taiji atlas explanation is the printed edition of Qing Dynasty. Xiangxiang county annals was compiled by Wang Zhenshi, Chen Zhexiu and Yi Zongxi in 1729.

Yi Zhenyan, whose name is neimei and whose name is zhuxuan, was born in the late Ming Dynasty. After entering the Qing Dynasty, he abandoned his scarves and clothes and called himself the unofficial history of Hunan.
