Zhang Guang, from leting County, Hebei Province, was born in December 1941. Now he is a member of China Artists Association, director of Oriental Art Exchange Association, national first-class artist and professional painter of people's Art Publishing House. In 1965, he graduated from the Department of traditional Chinese painting of the Central Academy of fine arts. During his schooling, he entered Professor Jiang Zhaohe's studio, specializing in realistic figure painting. Under the guidance of Professor Ye Qianyu, he laid a solid foundation for realistic painting. Good at people, animals, landscapes, especially good at painting horses and cattle.
