Main cases
Break free from feudal fetters
In the early 20th century, especially in the northern rural areas, most girls wanted to bind their feet. At that time, it was a common feudal custom for girls to bind their feet, which can also be said to be a family rule. But the young Song Lian resolutely refused the strong pressure from the family and society and refused to bind his feet. Song Lian's determination finally moved her grandmother and was supported by her father and mother, so her father vowed that "in the future, all women in our family will not bind their feet, including those who marry into our family.". Anti old marriage - in that cannibal society, most of the marriages of underage boys and girls were arranged by their parents very early. Boys and girls, without knowing it, are determined to be their own life events. Free love is absolutely not allowed. But Song Lian, the only one of our eight brothers and sisters, resolutely resisted the pressure of the old family rules and customs, and refused to arrange his own marriage. Every time the matchmaker came into the house to say she was married, she was driven out of the house many times by her crying, beating and scolding. At last, she was so scared that the matchmaker did not dare to come into my house again. From then on, the parents never mentioned her marriage again. As a result, Song Lian won. It is the victory of the struggle against the old feudal customs, the victory of her extraordinary perseverance, and the victory of her love for freedom and emancipation of the mind. This created excellent conditions for her to go out of the house and rush to the revolution. When Song Lian went to school, when he was admitted to Baoding No.2 women's normal school, these were all things that I did not remember when I was young. Once my family took me out to play. Passing by a senior girls' school in Lixian County, my parents said to me, "this is the school where Song Lian studied.". He also said, "Song Lian insisted on coming to this school.". If you want to be a person with knowledge and potential, you need to study to gain knowledge. It seems that Song Lian had the ambition to make progress since he was a child. Song Lian is a brave man who dares to fight against the old forces, a model of foresight, and an outstanding new woman in the old era. Even in her youth, she grew up to be the first female Communist among the 360000 people in Li county and a fearless strong woman.
Insist on Revolution
After Chiang Kai Shek's April 12 revolution in 1927, Song Lian and his elder brother were arrested by the Kuomintang government. After Song Lian came home from prison in 1934, his family celebrated for him, but Song Lian didn't. She is not long at home, except reading, often a person depressed, thinking. I remember one day, she suddenly invited a group of younger sisters and brothers to climb the city wall of the county for a walk. In fact, she was looking forward to the cause of freedom and liberation. Sure enough, he had been at home for less than a month, so he proposed to his father that he should still study in Beiping. Her father knew very well that she wanted to contact the party organization and continue the revolution to the end. His father is a famous enlightened gentleman in our county. He was moved by Song Lian's fearless revolutionary determination and readily agreed to Song Lian's request. When Song Lian left, his father only said one word in front of the whole family, to the effect that: "my daughter is promising! Go Song Zhaoyi, Song Lian's younger brother, has a deep memory of this short remark. According to song Zhaoyi's recollection, his father has always been very serious to us. After Song Lian left home, he remembered that once, because of a family dispute, his father angrily reprimanded several of our brothers. His most remembered father said: "you should look at your song Lian (meaning that you should learn from Song Lian) "Learning!" And said, "she's the most promising one!" A few words expressed the father and even the whole family's admiration for Song Lian. His father's original intention was to say that Song Lian bravely returned to the revolutionary organization immediately after he was released from prison, while some of our brothers were depressed and idle at home.
Love your country and your family
Song Lian left home for the revolution again this time, and never came back home since then. He even had no news for several years. Is it that she doesn't love her hometown? no Is it that she doesn't miss her grandparents, parents, brothers and sisters? No! In the age of white terror, the reactionary authorities publicized the Communist Party as a "Communist wife" or a "monster" Is Song Lian such a person? no Not at all!! In 1925, when her mother died, Song Lian was studying in Baoding No.2 women's normal school. Her father deliberately concealed that she was going home to visit her mother. When Song Lian came home and saw that her family were all wearing white filial piety, he immediately fainted to the ground. She loves her mother so much! One day in 1936 (or 37), grandma held a small piece of paper in her hand, and the whole family was overjoyed. It turned out to be a picture of a little girl. Grandma said to everyone, "come and see! You have a letter from Song Lian. This is your little niece! " The younger brother then asked, "where is Song Lian now
