Kong ZANG (about 201-123 BC): 10th grandson of Confucius. He was the son of Kong GUI, a Polygonum marquis in the Han Dynasty. From the middle age of emperor Gao of Han Dynasty to the end of Yuanshuo of Emperor Wu, he was alive. In the ninth year of Emperor Wen (about 171 B.C.), he became a royal historian. Zang yuan inherited his family property and sought to be too ordinary. He and his younger brother Kong an set up ancient righteousness. Emperor Wu seriously disobeyed his will, so he worshiped Taichang and gave gifts to Sangong, Zang Yu, doctor, etc. to persuade them to learn the method of encouraging sages. He asked them to write a merit order. He was a scholar of literature, such as Gong, Qing, official, Li and Binbin. He died several years ago.
Main works
Ten of Zang's books (a brief account of the art and literature of Han Dynasty) do not exist today, and 20 of his fu (a brief account of the poetry and Fu in the same book) are not passed on. There are two volumes of Liancong at the end of the pseudo Kong Congzi, which were formerly called Zang works. There are four pieces of Jianhu Fu, Yangliu Fu, Hao Fu and Liao Chong Fu, but we can't know whether they are true or false.
Family status
Kong Qian, the seventh grandson of Confucius, had three sons: Kong Yu and Kong Teng (Liu Bang, the emperor of the Han Dynasty, granted Kong teng the title of "worshiping the king")
