Wu Zhantai

Wu Zhantai (1657-1735), named Dongyan, was born in Shexian County, Anhui Province in Qing Dynasty. This portrait of Wu Zhantai is taken from the second episode of biography of scholars in Qing Dynasty, compiled by Ye gongchuo and copied by Yang pengqiu.

Wu Zhantai (1657-1735) was a scholar in the early Qing Dynasty. Dongyan, born in Shexian County, Anhui Province, is the eldest son of yuan. We should be honest and upright, and work in poetry. His works include ancient and modern style poetry, summary of Du's poetry, and notes on Tao's poetry.
