Qiao Yongqian? (1851) jianzhai, an official of Qiaojiawan, Yangdian Town, Xiaogan, Hubei Province, Qing Dynasty. In the 19th year of Jiaqing (1814 AD), he was a Jinshi. He was granted a letter to the cabinet. He was a military officer in Ji Zhangjing. After that, he successively served as a magistrate and Taoist officer in Nanning, Guangxi, and an inspector in Guangdong.
In 1840, when Lin Zexu banned opium in Guangzhou, he was ordered to lead his troops to bombard the invading British warships and smuggling ships in chuanbiyang and jianshajiao. In the same year, he was promoted to the chief minister of Shanxi Province. He was promoted to governor of Guizhou in 1845. In 1850, during the Miao uprising in Guizhou, he sent Hu Linji, the prefect of Guizhou, to search for and suppress Li Yuanfa's uprising, and organized troops to suppress Li Yuanfa's uprising on the border of Hunan and Guizhou. When Qiao Yongqian died in 1851, it was not long after emperor Xianfeng ascended the throne. The emperor Xianfeng was the prince of that year, while Qiao Yongqian was the "Prince Shaofu" of that year and the teacher of the emperor Xianfeng today. He was ordered by the former Emperor Daoguang to be responsible for the cultivation of the country's crown prince, and had deep feelings with Xianfeng teachers and students, monarchs and ministers. Therefore, the death of Qiao Yongqian made emperor Xianfeng grieve for a long time.
