Wu Keming is the first test pilot of a jet fighter in China.
Biography of characters
China's first jet fighter test pilot was Wu Keming. Wu Keming, 1.71m tall, was born in Xiaoshan, Zhejiang Province in 1929. In May 1949, Wu Keming joined the army after graduating from Xianghu Normal University in Xiaoshan, Zhejiang Province. In December of the same year, he entered the aviation school to study flying. The first test pilots of J-5 and J-6 fighters took off hundreds of times in the war to resist US aggression and aid Korea, fought more than 10 times in the air, and shot down two US made F-86 fighters. He was the first successful parachute jumper of our air force at sea.
Characters and deeds
In early 1955, the Chinese air force began to equip the MiG-17 ф. Wu Keming is one of the first four people to refit the 4th Air Division (now 1st Air Division), which once played an important role in the war of resisting US aggression and aiding Korea. After successfully refitting the MiG-17, Wu Keming was sent to another division to help and teach by the relevant departments at a higher level. It was November when he returned to the original army. "According to the instructions of the superior, the division decided to transfer you to Shenyang aircraft factory for flight test of new aircraft." Deputy teacher Li Yongtai's talk made Wu Keming feel a little unresponsive. "Can I finish the task? I've never had a test flight before Wu Keming answered in confusion. Li Yongtai saw his mind and said wittily, "isn't it forced to fight in North Korea?"?! It's the same with flight test. If you don't understand it, you can learn from the technicians in the aircraft factory In this way, Wu Keming packed up his flying equipment and arrived in Shenyang that day. After changing the letter of introduction in the military training office of Shenkong, the military training office sent a car to send him to factory 112. After arriving at plant 112, Wu Keming saw a brand new MiG-17, which was a prototype assembled according to Soviet components. Niu yingguan, the director of the factory, and he Ge, the Secretary of the Party committee, said enthusiastically to him: soon our own will come out, and it will be up to you. As soon as Wu Keming saw that he couldn't fly yet, he wanted to go back to the army. He knew that the task of refitting the MiG-17 ф was too heavy. As one of the four earliest refitted men in the whole division, he should go back to the army for a while. Wu Keming said hello and went back to the army by train. He opened his door. Before he sat down, he heard someone push the door. He looked at the sound and found that it was Liu zhongkuan, director of the flight test Office of 112 factory. I haven't touched my stool when I get home "Come with us, we have a mission." Liu zhongkuan helped him close the door that he had just opened. He got on the car with him and went back to factory 112. What is the mission? The factory didn't tell him in detail, just let him test fly the Soviet prototype. The test flight of this prototype assembled with Soviet parts went very smoothly. Wu Keming knew that the factory also took advantage of the test flight to see his skills, so he flew out all his special effects. After flying, Wu Keming met Jiao Ruoyu, Secretary of Shenyang municipal Party committee. Seeing Jiao Ruoyu coming to see the flying show, Wu Keming wondered if there would be more important people coming to see him? Sure enough, he guessed. On the morning of December 5, 1955, Wu Keming gave another flight performance. As soon as the plane took off, he did a roll up, then a half roll reverse, a fight, a low altitude spin, a super low altitude high speed pass After the performance, he realized that he had just performed for Liu Shaoqi. After a few days, Wu Keming saw that it would only take a few days for the domestic fighter to be built, and the troops were so tightly refitted and trained that he wanted to return to the troops. So he went back to the army.
First flight jian-5
At the beginning of 1956, Wu Keming's regiment was transferred to an airport in Shenyang. However, Wu Keming and the leaders of the army only took the test flight of the factory as a temporary task. After returning to the army, Wu Keming put his mind on the work of the army. At that time, they believed that the front-line troops were the most important. During this period, although the first plane has not yet been delivered, the factory has repeatedly asked Wu Keming to go. The leaders of the army are afraid that Wu Keming will get over this and they still want to use him. Just at this time, the night flight brigade of a regiment far away in western Liaoning was going to refit China's first MiG-17 with airborne radar. The leader said to him, "Wu Keming, you can also go and help them refit it." This naturally meant killing two birds with one stone. It's true to ask him to refit it. In addition, he took this opportunity to "hide" and save important people from 112 factory. At the beginning of June 1956, when the refitting was almost finished, Mr. Zou Yan found Wu Keming: "Wu Keming, you come back quickly. If you don't come back, I will make a mistake." What's going on? Wu Keming was surprised. "The Ministry of defense told you to go to the factory." Mr. Zou's tone is full of helplessness. This time, Wu Keming went to the factory completely. He not only covered the shop, but also had a complete relationship. The factory gave him a national defense education course which was more important and urgent than the debate. When he arrived at the factory, before the plane came out, Wu Keming visited the workshop by workshop. When he had a rough look from the production preparation workshop to the general assembly workshop, he deeply felt that it was too complicated to build an aircraft. One thing he was really happy to see was that although the drawings of this kind of aircraft belonged to others, we made some technological improvements, and all the workers were our own workers in New China. Seeing that those workers mastered the technology of making the most advanced fighter planes at that time so quickly, he thought that there was no reason why our country was not strong. before the test flight, Wu Keming was appointed the first captain of the first test flight brigade of the air force. This is our plane As soon as he entered the cockpit, Wu Keming felt relaxed and happy, because all the signs were in Chinese, which was no longer the previous Russian language. This kind of sign showed him cordiality most directly. ignite, refuel and lift off the ground. Wu Keming took off easily in China's first domestic fighter 0101. although he only did a simple spin in the first flight, Wu Keming felt that the plane was more flexible than "big brother". it's successful, and China is boiling. the next flight is the test of various special effects and faults. Everything is going well. Just parking in the air, Wu Keming had three times in a test flight. He is not afraid of parking in the air, because even if he stops in the air and can no longer start, he can make a forced landing easily. Because he made two forced landings on MiG-15 and umig.
Two forced landings
The first forced landing took place in July 1950, when Wu Keming trained at the second tier airport to resist US aggression and aid Korea, and only flew for more than 20 hours. In a formation flight, suddenly, he felt Yu Guang see something jump, quickly glanced at the dial, there was a charging button mischievous head out. You can't do that. If you come out, the plane will run out of electricity. I won't have fun if the plane runs out of electricity. Wu Keming impolitely pressed it down. But this guy just didn't listen to the greeting, pressed it down, and then jumped out again. So repeatedly, Wu Keming quit and pressed it with a finger. This can touch the tiger's butt, it "Tong" to fire, the cockpit immediately smoke. No, he had to return. Toward the airport, Wu Keming tried his best to fly the plane back. Finally, there was not enough oil, so he flew the plane toward the Liaohe River. On the edge of the river, he chose a watermelon field to rush through. After the plane dashed forward for more than 100 meters, he didn't expect to encounter a big ridge and jumped up. Wu Keming thought that if he buckled it, he would not be able to fight the Americans and be "glorious" in our rear. No, the plane didn't come back. Maybe I was so happy after a big meal of watermelon that I jumped this time and then I lay down honestly. The day before yesterday, the plane didn't come up. The next day, the Liaohe River flooded, and the plane took a bath. On the third day, the plane took off and set foot on the way home. Speaking of the forced landing, Wu Keming joked: "this is the result of no culture, because later I learned that the button is an insurance button. If it breaks down, it will automatically disconnect. When I find it, I will fly back quickly. If I press the natural insurance button, it will not be insured." Then he laughed. This kind of laughter, only those who have experienced too much life and death, and too much soul stirring, can give out that kind of bright and fearless laughter. Later, he had another experience of forced landing. Precious experience is wealth. In the later flight test, Wu Keming often flew to the limit of the aircraft performance. When the test aircraft was overloaded, he always failed to reach the 8 overloads he was about to come. He could only finish 6 of his most difficult special effects. How could he fly out the design data completely? He was worried. At this time, a Soviet engineer, who was not a pilot but had done a lot of research on flight, said to him, "you dive at a high speed, then pull up and fly a V to have a look." if you fly like this, the plane may disintegrate in the air, but Wu Keming still wants to try. Sure enough, eight overloads flew out like this. So far, all kinds of test flights of this kind of aircraft have been completed successfully. Later, this kind of aircraft was once the main aircraft of the Chinese air force. In 1959, Wu Keming succeeded in the test flight of the J-6 fighter.
Successful first flight
After the completion of the test mission, Wu Keming was transferred to plant 112 to prepare for the first flight of the first domestic jet. According to the calculation of the total assembly schedule, the domestic third-party equipment is the best
