Li Minzhong (1517-1564), the second son of Li Guan, was born in Shaodong (today's Guancun District), Conghua County. He was elected in the examination in 1552, Jiajing 31, Ming Dynasty. Four years later, he was a scholar in the imperial examination and was appointed as an official. He also served as the principal of the Ministry of official affairs, a member of the Ministry of official affairs, a doctor in charge of inspection, a member of Guangxi grain reserve, and a magistrate of Xunzhou prefecture (today's Guangxi county).
Li Min was famous for his honesty and uprightness. When he was a pedestrian official, he had three imperial edicts. After his mission was completed, he returned to Jingzhou and was promoted to be the chief minister of the Ministry of officials. Wang Guoguang, the prime minister at that time, was very appreciative of him. After he wrote an article assessing the merits and demerits of officials, Qing Jinruyi promoted him to the rank of Jixun member again. After three years, he was promoted to the rank of Yifeng doctor. He was upright and selfless. He was impartial and refused to ask for help. Someone just wanted to seek an official position in the royal family. This royal family was subordinate to the Fu Cao division, and it was popular to bribe. He thought this was not good, and refused to agree. As it happened, someone in the court envied him, so he was transferred to Guangxi as a grain reserve to participate in politics. After he took office, he strictly prohibited bribery, visited the poor, eliminated malpractices, put an end to waste, and significantly increased financial revenue. In July 1564, he was appointed the magistrate of Xunzhou Prefecture. In Xunzhou, his subordinates gave gifts, but Li Minzhong refused one by one. Some of them refused to change after repeated education, so he whipped the givers and drove them away. During the spring festival that year, Li Minzhong was ready to go home to visit his parents, but on the 24th day of the lunar new year, "thieves" such as silver leopard sneaked into Xunzhou city to rob the vassal. At that time, people did not dare to fight with "thieves". After hearing the news, he rushed out in his official uniform and led the officers and soldiers guarding the Treasury to kill the "thief" bravely, regardless of the dissuasion of his subordinates. Because he was outnumbered, he was injured in several places and returned to the Department with the officers and soldiers guarding the Treasury. When colleagues came to visit, Li Min asked, "where are you now? Are the goods in the storehouse still there? " Then he died. Fu Press reported his deeds to the court. The court was shocked and saddened by the news. It issued an imperial edict to bury 100 liang of silver and send officials to protect the funeral and return home. When the local people heard the news of his death, they cried and asked to send him to the famous official Temple for sacrifice. At the age of 47, Li Min was the author of Si Feng Ji.
