Huang Xipeng, a Jinshi and pastoral poet in the late Qing Dynasty (1859-1915), was born in a family of poetry and calligraphy.
Guangxu nineteen years (1893) Zhongju, elected to teach Ruizhou prefecture (today's Gao'an) government discipline. Guangxu 29 years (1903) Jinshi, granted the Ministry of work principal, after adding the title of member wailang. He has a sincere personality and disdains doing business. Besides business, he is fond of reading. He makes friends and sings with like-minded people such as censor Hu Sijing, Li Ruiqing, Zhu Yifan and Yu Zhaofan. Especially good reward after school. In the late Qing Dynasty, Song poetry was highly praised, especially Huang Tingjian's juijian, but Xi Peng advocated that the five character ancient style should be traced back to the Han, Wei and Jin poetry, and the seven temperament should be highly praised by Du Fu. In his early years, his poems were full of innovation and elegance. Under the influence of Li Bai and Han Yu, he also made great efforts to create new ideas. Ling Yunzhi, together with his inability to save the world and Lugo's difficult emotions, formed a complex contradictory mentality, which led to a sentimental poetic style. After returning to his hometown, he was willing to work hard and live a poor life in the countryside. He was named qiaoyin in Huangshan Mountain. The collection of poems is named qiaoyin, and the collection of essays is named zhelu. It is sad and desolate, and the mentality of the adherents can be seen. His writings are rooted in the classics and history, graceful, and tactful. After his death, his old friend Hu Xuebao sorted out four volumes of his posthumous works: zhelu wenlue and Huangshan qiaoyin poetry, which are now included in the collection of poems and essays of three Huang in Duchang (published by writer's Publishing House).
