In 1906, he entered an old school for enlightenment. In 1919, he was employed as a tutor of Dong Jinyuan, Gegong, Dongzhi County. In 1927, he took the lead in the struggle against rent and reasoning, which was deeply loved by farmers. In 1929, he was elected the chairman of "six colors" (Huaining, Tongcheng, Qianshan, Taihu, Susong and Wangjiang). In 1930, he contacted with the Communists and accepted the revolutionary principles. In July of the same year, he joined the Communist Party of China and engaged in revolutionary activities secretly. In 1931, he was the organization director of the CPC Guichi, Qiupu and Dongzhi central counties. Under the cover of the identity of "President", he attacked the current social evils, waited for an opportunity to attack the evil gentry, developed the peasant armed forces, and punished the local tyrants. In 1935, he organized a peasant regiment to cooperate with the Red Army guerrillas. Starting from Ganjue and shuangkeng, he arrived at bankeng, Qimen. He surrounded and captured the local tyrant Li Jinming. He seized more than 2000 Zhang of cloth and more than 1000 pieces of silver. Three times, he used the name of "Red Army guerrillas in southern Anhui" to post letters and borrow money from the tyrant landlords. On January 25, 1933, he was besieged and arrested by the strong men's team in Qimen and was taken to the division headquarters of the 57th division of the Kuomintang. During the trial, he endured cruel torture and never revealed his personal identity and organizational secrets. Later, he was transferred to Qiupu prison. He was released in November 1933. In the spring of 1934, under the cover of the Red Army guerrillas, he led the peasant League to attack the big bully landlord Li Zhongyu's family. One night in May, 1935, he led more than 50 peasants to encircle Li Hanchen's oil workshop in the rain, captured Li Hanchen alive, and opened a warehouse for grain. He was arrested again in July of the same year. Under the threat and softening of the enemy's "stepping on the bar", "tiger stool", "bamboo stick nailing fingers" and the feeling of mother and son, he was unshakable and unyielding. In the early morning of July 11, he was taken to the riverside of Yuanyuan and shot.
