A. Creating comprehensive economics to fill the theoretical gap
Professor Wei is dedicated to scientific research and bold exploration. He not only has many unique views on agricultural economy, but also creates a new discipline of comprehensive economics in economic theory. In 1980, Professor Wei participated in the rural economic survey in 11 provinces of China, which was deployed by the State Agricultural Commission. Professor Wei carried out a pilot project in Boluo County, Guangdong Province. In the practice of more than half a year, he germinated the idea of creating comprehensive economics. In 1982, he published a brief overview of economics in technical economy and management modernization (the second issue in 1982). In 1988, he published a comprehensive overview of economics. In the past 20 years, he has published eight comprehensive economics works, which have been widely used in economic construction and attracted the attention of academic circles. Recently, more than 20 experts and scholars from Sun Yat sen University, South China University of technology, South China Agricultural University, Party School of Guangdong provincial Party committee, Jinan University and other universities held a symposium on Guangdong international comprehensive economics. They all agreed that the comprehensive economics founded by Professor Wei represents the latest theoretical achievements of China's economics, with distinct epochal and forward-looking characteristics, and its creation fills the gap The gap of economic theory.
B. What is comprehensive economics
What is comprehensive economics? This should start from the classification of economics. In the history of world economic development, Microeconomics (represented by Adam Smith's "laissez faire economics") and Macroeconomics (represented by Keynes's "government finance and financial intervention economics") have successively appeared. Both theories have promoted the development of social economy, but later there have been problems. In 1982, Professor Wei founded comprehensive economics on the basis of Marxist Leninist economics, absorbing and drawing lessons from the reasonable contents of microeconomics and macroeconomics, and combining with the new characteristics of the world economic situation. In 1988, he published comprehensive economics, which uses the latest achievements and methods of system theory, cybernetics, information theory and contemporary science and technology. It is an economics in the sense of modern system science that organically combines macroeconomics and microeconomics, economic theory and sustainable development theory, economic benefit and social benefit, ecological benefit and environmental benefit. Its establishment solved some problems in macroeconomics and microeconomics, filled in the gap of domestic economic theory, and was an original achievement in China's economic theory. In the following time, comprehensive economics was adopted by the State Council and many provinces and cities in the demonstration of economic planning and economic construction, and achieved positive results. In particular, it is worth mentioning that the overall, coordinated and systematic view of economics is basically consistent with the scientific development view of "comprehensive, coordinated and sustainable development" put forward by general secretary of the CPC Central Committee and President Hu Jintao.
C. Economics will become the mainstream of the 21st century
According to Professor Wei, the main functions of economics are shown in several aspects. First of all, from the perspective of the guiding role of China's economic system reform, we should pay attention to the three points of view of comprehensive economy. China's situation is complex, and the reform of its economic system involves a wide range of issues. The reform requires comprehensive deployment. Only by using the viewpoint of comprehensive economy and paying attention to both macro economy and micro economy, can we proceed from the overall situation and the whole, and at the same time deal with the relationship between various parts, so as to achieve the maximum economic benefits of the national economy.
From the perspective of economic research, we should pay attention to the comprehensive research of multi-disciplinary and interdisciplinary. Because economic strategy is a complex of many factors, it involves social science and natural science.
From the point of view of agricultural system engineering, agricultural system engineering includes agricultural technology system, agricultural economic system and agricultural ecological system. These three systems are combined as a whole, and must be studied from a comprehensive point of view. The basic characteristic of agriculture is that natural reproduction and economic reproduction are interwoven to form a complex system.
From the perspective of world economic development, human economic sublimation and economic development are integrated, inseparable from the relationship between natural conditions and social economy, and closely combined with nature, society, economy and technology.
From the perspective of economic internationalization, it is mainly reflected in two aspects: first, comprehensive economics not only plays an important role in guiding China's social and economic development, but also has guiding significance for other developed and underdeveloped countries in the world; second, not only Chinese economists study comprehensive economics, but also economists in many countries and regions in the world pay close attention to comprehensive economics Look at economics.
Comprehensive economics skillfully combines macroeconomics and microeconomics, and puts forward holistic, coordinated and systematic views and comprehensive control methods, so as to improve comprehensive economic benefits and fill a gap in economic theory.
D. Eager to try, expecting to nominate "Nobel Prize"
Professor Wei's comprehensive view of economics has been unanimously affirmed by the domestic academic circles, and has also attracted the attention of the world economic circles. Professor Wei has also become the most promising mainland economist in China to win the Nobel Prize in economics.
In 1996, according to the four main conditions (originality, scientificity, practicality and pluralism) for the submission of the Nobel Prize in economics, six academic groups, including the Guangdong International Society for comprehensive economic research, compared with the characteristics of comprehensive economics, jointly wrote the paper "comprehensive economics strides into the world's scientific forest" and discussed the submission of the Nobel Prize in economics
