Yingzhi

He was born in Qiong County, Bohai prefecture (now Jingxian County, Hebei Province). During the Tang Dynasty, the prime minister was the son of Gao Yuanyu, the Minister of the Ministry of official affairs.

Born in Gao family of Bohai Sea, he is diligent and studious. In the third year of Dazhong (849), he was a Jinshiji. He started his own school as Shulang and Secretary of Wuchang army. He successively served as Yizhou (Bai Minzhong) in charge of, xielilang and youshiyi. He moved to Hanlin bachelor, shiyilang, zhizhizhigao and Youjianyi doctor, and was awarded the second minister of engineer and soldier.

Tang Yizong ascended the throne and served as the Jiedushi of Dongchuan in Jiannan. He paid homage to the Shi Lang and Tongping Zhangshi of the Ministry of war, and moved to Zhongshu Shi Lang and Tongping Zhangshi. In the fifth year of Xiantong (864), he died at the age of 47. He gave it to Sikong and was buried in Baishayuan, heyanfan village, yique county.

Life of the characters

Gao Xun is a descendant of the royal family of the Northern Qi Dynasty. His ancestor Gao Shilian paid homage to the Prime Minister of Emperor Taizong in Tang Dynasty. Although the Gao family was not dignified by this, his uncle Gao Shaoyi and father Gao Yuanyu became famous officials of the imperial court. In 849 of the reign of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty, Gao Xun became a scholar, and later became a local staff. Gao Xun's biography does not record the year in which he became a Jinshi, but Cui Yanzhao's biography records that Cui yanzhao, Gao Xun and Zhao Yin became Jinshi in the same year, and points out that Cui Yanzhao was a Jinshi in 849. During the reign of Xuanzong, he served as a scholar in the Imperial Academy. Although it was rare for Hanlin bachelor to be promoted at that time, Gao Xun was promoted to be a counsellor. After Tang Yizong, the son of Tang Xuanzong, succeeded to the throne, Gao Xun was appointed as the governor of Dongchuan. Soon after, he was recalled to Chang'an to serve as the Minister of the military department. He was given the title of "pingzhangshi" by Zhongshu, so he became the prime minister. He passed away two months later and got his posthumous title. However, because Gao had frequent contacts with bad people before he died, he got one at the insistence of Dr. Taichang Cao Ye“
