Luo Zhongshu is a native of Lianzhou (now Lianxian County, Guangdong Province) and Linwu (now Hunan Province). Later Zhou Xiande was a Jinshi in the third year (956). In Song Taizu's treasure, Li was given to Shi Lang and Shi renshe. There are four biographies in Lianzhou Zhi of Tongzhi in Qing Dynasty.
Luo Zhongshu, the eldest son of Luo Liangxiang, was taught by his father. He was keen and intelligent. In the first year of Guangshun in the Later Zhou Dynasty (951), he became a Jinshi. Because his parents' affairs were high, he went back to his hometown to serve his parents. At this time, Luo was an old official of Zhou Dynasty in the Song Dynasty. He did not want to be an official of Song Dynasty, but decided to live in seclusion in his hometown. In the early years of Kaibao of Song Dynasty, the imperial edict selected the famous talents in the sea. The local officials of Guiyang had heard about the reputation of Gushu for a long time, so they promoted Luo Gushu to the court. Under the high pressure policy of the court, they had to reluctantly answer the imperial edict. After the imperial edict, he was awarded Zhongshu Sheren, but he didn't care about politics, so he had to change to Zhongshu Sheren. Before he left his post, he returned to his hometown and wrote the poem Yongju, which is called "self satisfaction". Luo Anshi, his eldest son, was attached to Chenzhou in Xianping of Song Dynasty, and then became a Jinshi. He was known to Zheng county of Zhangzhou as a writer. The second son, Luo Anmin, is famous for his scriptures. He was granted Jinshi and magistrate of Lechang by Emperor Tianxi of Song Dynasty.
