Chen Hong

Chen Hong, whose birth and death are unknown, is a novelist of Tang Dynasty. Tang Zhenyuan 21 years (805) Jinshi, ascend too often the first. He has been a doctor of Taichang, a member of Yubu, a doctor and guest doctor. In the first year of Changqing (821), Princess Taihe married Uighur, and he served as an envoy to the Uighur wedding. In the third year of the reign of emperor Wenzong of the Tang Dynasty, he was an official and a doctor. He claimed to be "less learned from Shi Shi, and aspiring to annals" (preface to Da Tong Ji). He once wrote 30 volumes of Da Tong Ji with seven years' efforts, but now it is not handed down. There are three chapters in quantangwen.

Works introduction

His legendary novel, biography of everlasting regret, was written in the early Yuanhe period of emperor Xianzong of Tang Dynasty. It was based on historical events and exaggerated, with the meaning of admonishment and allegory. In December of 806 (the first year of Yuanhe), Bai Juyi was a county captain. When Chen Hong and Wang Zhifu from Langya lived here, they always traveled together. When they visited Xianyou Temple together, they talked about the past events of Emperor Xuanzong and Princess Yang of the Tang Dynasty. Wang Zhifu then advised Bai Juyi to write a poem to commemorate: "the affairs of Fu Xidai are not polished by the time, but disappear with the time. Happiness is deeper than poetry, more than emotion. How about trying to sing it? " Bai Juyi wrote the song of everlasting regret, and Chen Hong wrote the song of everlasting regret, which was passed on to the world. This biography first tells the whole story of Princess Yang's entering the palace at the beginning of the Yuan Dynasty and her death at maweipo at the end of Tianbao. Later, it tells about Xuanzong's return from Sichuan to Beijing, for which the alchemists searched for the soul of the imperial concubine and saw it in the fairy mountain on the sea. The imperial concubine made an oath with Xuanzong on the seventh night of the seventh lunar month. The latter part of the narrative is not seen in the Tang poetry before, it should not be in the folk hearsay; the description is also quite detailed. The article reveals Xuanzong's indulgence and political corruption in his later years, that is to say, Yang Guifei took a section from Xuanzong's son Shouwang's residence. The discussion at the end of the article is attributed to "punishing the beautiful things, smothering the chaotic steps, and hanging in the future". This biography goes hand in hand with the song of everlasting regret and is widely spread. In the Northern Song Dynasty, Yang Taizhen's biography was the source of his long legend. In later generations, there were more opera performers. Among them, Bai Po, Tang Minghuang's autumn night Wutong rain, was the most famous legend in the Yuan Dynasty.

Textual research on works

Another old title, biography of the old father of Dongcheng, written by Chen Hong, was also written in Yuanhe. In the biography of Kaiyuan and Tianbao, jia chang was fond of fighting chickens. In the rebellion of Anlu mountain, Xuanzong was lucky in Shu, but jia chang was not as good as his retinue, so he became a monk. Yuanhe is still in the middle of the Yuan Dynasty. Looking back on the grand events of that year, I can't help feeling the vicissitudes of the past and the present. In the second part, Jia Chang's words are recorded, comparing the political and social situation of Kaiyuan with the current affairs, and expressing his worries about the current politics. According to the old title of this article, it was written by Chen Hong, but the author calls himself "Chen HongZu", so it should be written by HongZu. Chen HongZu's life is unknown. Chen Hong's "Kaiyuan shengpingyuan" Volume 1 and "Zizhi Tongjian Kaoyi" Volume 12 are cited in the category of "sub novelist" in the new history of Tang Dynasty. Wu Jing wrote about Yao Chong's ten suggestions to Xuanzong, such as inviting kindness by riding and shooting, offering benevolence and justice before criminal law, and then making an imperial edict to become prime minister. Sima Guang thought it was a good thing to do in the name of Wu Jing. The records of Jun Zhai reading, Zhi Zhai Shulu Jieti and Song Shi Yi Wen Zhi are all written by Wu Jing. Some people suspect that this book was not written by Chen Hong and Wu Jing, or that it was written by Chen Hong.
