Liu Chen
Liu Chu, who was named Xuetang in the old times and Langfeng in his later years, was a native of sanduli Village (now Xidian town). Liu Chen is fond of books and has a collection of more than ten thousand volumes. In his later years, he compiled the book of changes and wrote many volumes of Langfeng collection.
Biography
Their ancestors were descendants of the royal family of the Han Dynasty and lived in seclusion on the rooftop. Some of their descendants moved to Xinchang and then to Ninghai. Father to again, fengzhenglang rongci Chaofeng doctor. Liu Chu studied in Siming scholar Mr. Shen Guolu when he was young. Later, his classmates were all famous scholars in Yongshang. During this period, Lu Xiangshan (Jiuyuan), Zhu Xi and other famous scholars favored him, and his academic progress was very fast. In the first year of Jiading (1208), he was elected to Huangpo county (now Hubei Province) with special performance. At that time, when the country was in turmoil, there were Jin and yuan outside the border, and sometimes they wanted to swallow it; at the same time, the powerful officials were in charge, and they levied exorbitant taxes on the people. The emperor was corrupt and incompetent, and the small court was in turmoil. Seeing the current situation, Liu Chu abandoned his official position and returned to Li, where he lived in seclusion on Langfeng mountain in his hometown. On the mountain, there is a flat rock with an area of about Mu, which is called langfengtai. There are stone room, stone well, West cave and other places of interest. Liu Fu built "langfengyin room" here. The hall structure is exquisite, and the study is named "xuezhai". Day and night in this book, poetry, or about drinking friends, or invited friends to sing. Liu Chu's works are rich, and "he has collected more than ten thousand volumes, all of them are from his own hands, later than Yi, and compiled into" self righteousness ";" poetry "and" Analects of Confucius "have their own interpretations; Laozi and Du's poetry have their own interpretations; and" Langfeng collection "has several volumes, but none of them can understand the essence.". Epitaph of Liu Fu
Liu's epitaph is located in Langfeng Anli on Langfeng mountain in Ninghai, with a height of 0.83 meters and a width of 0.69 meters. Tongbei 985 characters, small script in regular script, the font is meaningful. About 20 years ago, when Langfeng nunnery was expanded, this monument was excavated from the underground of the farm near the mountain behind the temple. The epitaph was written by Liu Ying, Liu Fu's younger brother. It was carved in 1219, the 10th year of Jiading in Song Dynasty, 793 years ago. There are few extant pre song inscriptions in Ninghai, so this one should be one of the most valuable extant ancient inscriptions in Ninghai. There are only inscriptions but no inscriptions in the epitaph. In addition to Liu's taboo, ancestral line, birth and death, offspring and burial place, the epitaph also gives a detailed description of Liu's life, especially his knowledge, personality and hobbies, so that future generations can have a glimpse of Mr. Langfeng from the epitaph. For Liu's knowledge, the inscriptions are expressed through the attitude of the three scholars at that time. Liu has been pursuing knowledge all his life, and he also likes Lin Quan. When he was in his fifties, he still didn't get married. Later, his friends blamed him for not having a wife, so he accepted a maid as his wife. Liu's cemetery is close to langfengyin room. According to the inscription, it was chosen by him during his lifetime. Liu is a book lover and has a collection of more than 10000 volumes. In his later years, he compiled the book of changes, explained the book of songs and the Analects of Confucius, added explanations to Laozi and Du Shi, and wrote many volumes of Langfeng collection. Unfortunately, most of his works suffered from the disaster of the late Song Dynasty, but they were lost and few survived. His influence on later generations is so far-reaching that there are many scholars who call themselves Langfeng. Four years after Liu's death, Shu Yuexiang was born in paimenshu village of langfengli. Later, he became a famous scholar, poet and writer. After the death of Song Dynasty, he also lived in seclusion in his hometown and called himself Langfeng. Later, he was called shulangfeng. The former and the latter two Mr. Langfeng have written a brilliant page for Ninghai's history, and Langfeng has become a synonym for the hometown of poetry and prose.
