Chang Zhu
Chang Zhu was a member of the Jinshi Section in the ninth year (721) of the Kaiyuan Dynasty. His poem "climbing the stork and magpie tower" has the sentence of "the heaven encircles the plain, the river enters the broken mountain", which is widely spread in the past dynasties.

Chang Zhu was born in Ruzhou (now Linru County, Henan Province) in the Tang Dynasty.

At the beginning of Kaiyuan, he was a Jinshi. In the ninth year (721), he was outstanding. The officer went to Xu Chang. His poem "climbing the stork and magpie tower" has the sentence of "the heaven encircles the plain, the river enters the broken mountain", which is widely spread in the past dynasties. However, most of them were mistaken for Chang, and only two couplets were passed. There is one poem in Quan Tang Shi, one supplement to Quan Tang Shi and two essays in Quan Tang Wen. His life story can be seen in volume 9 of Yuanhe surname compilation, Volume 27 of Tang poetry chronicle and volume 7 of Dengke Ji Kao.
