Wang zhuiqi (1631-1685), whose name is Jinzhi, is xuezhou. He is the tenth descendant of shirtless Dragon (now Xinzhou old street in Wuhan). He is the brother-in-law of Du Jun, a famous poet.

Wang zhuiqi (1631-1685), whose name is Jinzhi, is xuezhou. He is the tenth descendant of shirtless Dragon (now Xinzhou old street in Wuhan). He is the brother-in-law of Du Jun, a famous poet. The official went to Wude, Shandong Province. In his early years, he was a member of Zhijin Hall of Wenjin Academy. He was a Jinshi in the 16th year of Shunzhi reign of Qing Dynasty (1659). He selected a good scholar and changed the course of rites to Shizhong. In 1654, he returned to his hometown to visit his relatives and presided over the Confucius sacrificial ceremony of Wenjin academy to beg for support. After returning home, he closed his family and studied Classics for more than 20 years. He was erudite and learned a lot. In his later years, he was especially fond of Yixiang. He once hung the picture of Heluo among his seats and read it day and night. He also studied Chu culture very carefully. In the preface to southern Chu literature, he once commented on Confucius' poems, which adopted the style of other countries and ignored Chu style.
In his preface to xuezhou poems, Wei Weidu called his poems "novel and meaningful, disdaining to follow the ancients".
His works include zhijintang art making, Wuyue xingyin, Guangling Qiuxing, juchaolou collection and xuezhou poetry collection, which are handed down to the world. They are also handed down in Qianlong county annals of Qing Dynasty and Huanggang Prefecture annals of Guangxu.
