Wang Weiqing (1778-1842), a native of Bashan in Zhucheng, was a minister and scholar in Jiadao period of Qing Dynasty. In the 19th year of Jiaqing period (1814), he was a Jinshi, who was a commoner and a good scholar in the Imperial Academy. He successively served as the head of the Ministry of official affairs and a member of the Ministry of rites. He transferred to Fujian Province to supervise the censor, and then moved to Jiangxi Province. Later, he moved to the cabinet to study as a bachelor, the Prime Minister of shuntianfu, the Minister of Dali temple, the Minister of Guanglu temple, the censor of the left Deputy capital, the Minister of rites, and the right Minister of the Ministry of rites. Later he died in office.
Wang Weiqing (1778-1842) was born in Bashan of Zhucheng city. He was the second son of Wang Yinghuan, the governor in charge of the Qing Dynasty during the reign of Qianlong. He was a minister and a famous scholar during the reign of Jiadao in the Qing Dynasty. Wang Weiqing wrote many works in his life, including four volumes of juantang anthology, fifteen volumes of poetry anthology, two volumes of jiaoyeshan fangguanke poetry notes, two volumes of Fu notes, one volume of supplementary notes to Canglang poetry notes, four volumes of juantang poetry notes, one volume of Shenyang suihu Jicheng, two volumes of Lantai Memorial, two volumes of rutianguan arts, one volume of annals, etc.
