Wang Menggeng
Wang Menggeng (1907-1949) was born in Poyang, Jiangxi Province. He graduated from the sixth infantry division of Huangpu Military Academy, the research class of the Central Military Police Academy, and the tenth general class of the Central Military Training Corps. He has successively served as the company commander of the police protection brigade of Zhejiang Province, the staff officer of the 20th division, the section chief of the headquarters of the South Fujian garrison area, and the staff chief and deputy chief of the fourth security brigade of Guangdong Province. He has successively served as the commander of the 2nd Battalion of the 74th army, the subordinate of the 306th regiment, and the head of the 153 regiment. At the end of 1947, he served as major general and division commander of the 51st division of the 74th Army (reconstruction). He was killed in battle with the people's Liberation Army on January 10, 1949.

He graduated from the sixth infantry division of the Central Army Academy. after graduating from the military academy in May 1929, he once served as a junior officer of the first supplementary brigade, the new 11th division and the 51st division of the Ministry of military affairs. In November 1936, he was promoted to commander of the 2nd Battalion of the 306th Regiment (commander Qiu Weida) of the 153rd Brigade (and brigade commander Li Tianxia) of the 51st division (division commander Wang Yaowu). In April 1939, he was promoted to lieutenant colonel Lu Xing of the 306th regiment of the 153rd Brigade (brigade commander Qiu Weida). In June, the Department was renamed the 53rd Regiment (commander Lu Xing) of the 51st division (division commander Li Tianxia) and was renamed the deputy commander of the lieutenant colonel. In February 1943, he was promoted to captain of the 153rd regiment of the 51st division (division commander Zhou Zhidao). On July 31, he served as an infantry major in the Syrian army. On August 3, 1944, he was awarded the fifth order Yunhui medal. In June 1946, the 51st division was reorganized into the 51st Brigade (brigade commander Chen Chuanjun), and was promoted to colonel and Deputy brigade commander. He was awarded the medal of victory on October 10. On the 30th of the same month, Jin served as infantry commander of the army. After Wang Yaowu got the news of the collapse of the whole division, he decided to take the first step and ask for the rapid re establishment of the whole 74 division. He recommended Qiu Weida as the division commander and Wang Menggeng, the former deputy commander of the whole 51 brigade, as the brigade commander. In June 1947, he was promoted to major general of the 51st Brigade (under the jurisdiction of the third regiment). In September 1948, the whole 51 brigade was renamed the 51st division (under the jurisdiction of the third regiment) and was re appointed as the commander of the major general division. In December, he was promoted to major general, deputy commander and division commander of the 51st division of the 74th Army (commander Qiu Weida). He was killed in battle with the people's Liberation Army in Yongcheng, Henan Province on January 10, 1949.
