Teng Yu (1150-1229) was an official in the Southern Song Dynasty. Decui word, No. Xizhai, Wuyuan (now Jiangxi) people. He and his brother Gong were taught by Zhu Xi. In the eighth year of Chunxi's reign, he was a Jinshi, a magistrate of Yin County, a professor of Ezhou, a governor of Sichuan Province, a magistrate of Qingyuan Prefecture, a magistrate in charge, and a temple of Fengxian city. From then on, they were sentenced to Longxing Prefecture. He served as a councilor of shuaisi in eastern Zhejiang and Fujian provinces. Shaoding died in the second year and was 80 years old. He has written 30 volumes of Xizhai Lei manuscript, which has been lost. One of his poems was recorded in volume 2653 of the complete song poetry. His works are included in volume 64 of Quan Song Wen.
