Shen Dalian, born in Yongjia, nephew of Shen Gongxing, was a Jinshi in 1128. He once served as the censor and wrote the Analects of Confucius.
It is recorded in Ruian county annals by Jiaqing of Qing Dynasty that "shenjiaxiang is in the east of Yuxing street, and Shen Dalian, the imperial censor of Song Dynasty, is in Curie, which is now fandaqiao street.".
