Wang Yi

Wang Yi (1671-1706), a poet of Qing Dynasty. Word jade wheel, number Dongshan, Jiangsu Changshu people. In the 39th year of Emperor Kangxi's reign, he was the first scholar and the number one scholar. He was granted the Imperial Academy to write. After only three years as an official, he retired. For poetry implication, he wrote "autumn studio poetry".

Life of the characters

Wang Yi was a member of the Wang family in Ximen, Xiuning. His grandfather Qian Zeng had a library named Shugu building and Yiyuan. Wang Yi was born in the 10th year of the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty and was registered in Changshu, Jiangsu Province. As a child, he was quick witted, handsome and beautiful, and loved by his grandfather. Fortunately, he browsed books and literature that others could not see, and made friends with many celebrities at that time. In the early Qing Dynasty, the great calligrapher of Jiangnan, Qu Shaoji, the owner of "Tieqin Tongjian tower" and Shaoling, the famous poet, were all friends of Wang Yi. The collection includes two volumes of fan's Sui Han Tang's memorial to the government of fan Wenzheng published in 1334 of the second year of the Yuan Dynasty. The collection is printed with "Wang Yi / biezi / Dongshan" Zhu's seal, "Gengchen / Zhuangyuan" Bai's seal, "Zi / Dongshan" Zhu's seal, etc. Wang Yi was the number one scholar in the 39th year of Kangxi (1700). He was appointed to write in the Imperial Academy and was in charge of the compilation of national history. Wang Yi won the imperial examination in 1697, but failed to go home for the funeral examination. Cohen made up for the imperial examination and won the first prize in the examination, becoming the 23rd since the founding of the Qing Dynasty. On the day of Lu's singing, he once said in a poem: "to plan for a thousand hectares of bamboo, to be a floating official for only ten years." He has been the branch of the Ministry of rites and the editor of Zhuzi Quanshu. It is as famous as Fang Bao, Tang youzeng and Jiang Tingxi. In the 42nd year of Kangxi, he was appointed as the same examiner of the examination, and admitted some famous people, such as Cha Shenxing, from Haining. Although he claimed to be an official for ten years, he retired after only three years because he was excluded.

In 1705, Emperor Kangxi made a tour to the south, and ordered Wang Yi and Wang Shichen to publish the complete Tang poetry in Yangzhou. Kangxi 45 years (1706) died of disease in Yangzhou, was 36 years old.

Wang Yi wrote a biography of Zhao Dynasty's bamboo slips. Later generations compiled his poems and published them in the collection of qiuyinglou poems. Shen Deqian, a famous poet, selected 12 poems from them and included them in the anthology of poems of Qing Dynasty, and 7 poems in Jiangsu Shizheng.

Wang Yi is also good at painting. After his death, his sixth grandson, Youzhen, kept a painting of planting taro, which was made of wind and wood. Wang Yi said to himself, "what should the prime minister do in the past ten years in the old case of Mount Mo Ni Hengshan?" His calligraphy imitates Huang Ting Jing and Le Yi Lun, which is quite skillful.

Wang Yi is a man of loose mind and unrestrained personality. He raised two actors, who are nicknamed "double cabbages". Fang Bao often advised him to live a decent life. Wang Yi was not happy and wrote at the door: "Wang, the number one scholar in Hou Zhong, told linggao not to give him light. What's the harm of going to Nansha or Xitang when it's dark and rainy? Double cabbages, come to the library all day
