Yang Qishen (1200 -?) He was born in Tongcheng County, Ezhou (now Xianning City), Hubei Province, on the fourth day of the tenth month of the lunar calendar in the sixth year of Qingyuan, ningzong, Southern Song Dynasty. He was good at the spring and Autumn Annals. He took part in the imperial examination three times. He was 56 years old. In the fourth year of Baoyou's reign (1256), he won the third place in the Bingchen section (Wen Tianxiang list). Because of his age and undeveloped official career, there are few records of his official career. After returning to his hometown, he saw that the north and south of the county town were separated by junshui, and it was inconvenient for Sichuan. He proposed to build Gongbei bridge, known as "Zhuangyuan bridge". Because the bridge has nine holes, it is also known as "Jiuyan bridge". Yang Qishen is well versed in history, and some of his poems are handed down to the world. Guan digonglang, who died in Jiujiang, was buried in front of Longping temple in the southwest of the county and behind the city god hall.
