Yang Chu (603-618), whose name is ren'an, was born in Hongnong Huayin (now Huayin City, Shaanxi Province). He is the eldest son of Yang Guang, Emperor Yang of the Sui Dynasty, and the eldest son of Yang Zhao, Prince Yuande. His mother is Liu Liangdi.
