Character experience
He obtained bachelor's degree, master's degree and doctor's degree in chemical engineering from Dalian University of technology in 1986, 1989 and 1992.
From 1992 to 1994, he was engaged in postdoctoral research in Institute of process engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, under the guidance of Mr. Chen Jiayong.
From 1994 to 1998, he was an associate researcher of the Institute, focusing on nanotechnology and new separation methods.
At the beginning of 1998, he was funded by Lee Foundation and went to the Department of chemical engineering and materials of University of Minnesota as a senior visiting scholar. In cooperation with Professor Edward Cussler, he carried out the research on hollow fiber membrane solvent extraction in wastewater treatment and drug separation.
From 2000 to 2002, he worked as a research scientist in the Department, engaged in barrier functional membrane research, and provided technical consulting services for ion exchange resin and biological separation companies.
In the 2002-2012 year, the Donaldson group research center in the United States worked as a senior scientist in the field of filtration and separation, including aerosol and dust filtration, droplet filtration, filtration of fuel oil and lubricating oil for diesel engines, stable emulsion separation, application of nanofibers and membranes in separation, characteristics of biodiesel, surface modification of porous materials, and other pollution control technologies. . During the period, he participated in the formulation of American and international filtration test standards, and provided consulting services for membrane distillation water desalination technology, algae to biodiesel process dehydration technology and hydraulic power system filtration technology.
In April 2012, he quit his job in the United States and returned to China full-time and quickly established his existing team. He is currently a researcher and doctoral supervisor of Institute of process engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Academic achievements
More than 40 papers have been published in aichej, JMS, biotech & Bioeng, J. Colloid & interfsci, filtration J and other international journals, and have been cited more than 400 times.
He made more than 30 oral reports at international and domestic conferences, including two theme reports of the Congress held in the United States, and served as co chairman and branch chairman of the Congress. More than ten patents have been applied in the United States, Europe and China.
The research results have been reported and interviewed by Cen magazine and American media.
In 2011, he won the Senior Scientist Award of American filtration and separation society, in recognition of his great contribution to filtration and separation technology in the world.
At present, he is a senior member of American Society of chemical engineers, and a member of American Chemical Society, North American membrane society, American filtration and separation society and American Society of automotive engineering.
