Yang Rensi was born in yuangedu of Sanrao in Raoping County in Ming Dynasty. He was a Jinshi of Wuchen branch in Chongzhen of Ming Dynasty in 1628. Gu Chaojian, Guo Zhiqi, Huang Qiyu, song Zhaoyi, Liang Yinglong, Yang Rensi, Chen suoxian, and Li Tuchun of Chengxiang county are among the top Jinshi on the same list. People call them the "eight sages after Chaozhou". List Li Shichun, then called "Chaozhou after seven sages.". Yang Rensi made great achievements in his life and was honored as one of the eight sages of Chaoshan.

According to the records of Chenghai county annals, Lvbo Academy was built in the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty (1522-1566 A.D.), which is the earliest Academy in Chenghai. Yang Rensi used this teaching mode to teach batch after batch of students, which promoted the transformation of private school education mode to Academy (school) school running mode and popularized cultural education. Yang Rensi brought the school running mode of academies to Chaoshan, which is the first time to set up academies in Chenghai. Before the completion of Lvbo academy, Yang Rensi first taught in the ancestral hall of the Xu family at the foot of Huqiu mountain. When the Academy was completed and moved, Yang Rensi wrote couplets to the local Xu family as a token of gratitude: the waves open, the blue shadows contain the crescent moon, and the mountains are clear and the purple clouds reflect. This couplet was carved on a stone column. After more than 400 years of wind and rain, the ink remains fragrant. Unfortunately, in the historical evolution, the green wave academy has already disappeared. dansha ancient temple. It is located at the foot of Huqiu mountain in chengyanggang. In front of the temple is a stone archway erected by jumeihui, a nongovernmental organization in the sixth year of Tianqi. On it are plaques and couplets written by Yang Rensi in Ming Dynasty: "Phoenix comes to Wudang" and "Millennium treasure light" written by Cai Li'an.
