Du Wenlan (1815-1881) was born in Xiushui, Zhejiang Province.

He joined the army in the Taiping rebellion. He had a talent, which was called by Zeng Guofan. He went to Jiangsu Province as a Taoist official and served as a salt transportation envoy of Huaihe River and Huaihe River.

Gongci, the author of song Xiang Ci, Qiyuan Cihua. "Mandala Huage Suo Ji", "ancient proverbs", "Pingding Yue Kou Ji Lue" and "Ci LV collation Ji" were handed down to the world.
