Character experience
Youth
Li Ling, a smart young man, went to Fujian with his father to visit Putian and other places. He has heard many times the teachings of Zhu Xi, a master of Fujian studies, which he firmly remembers in his heart. He is willing to follow the example of ancient sages and sages in life, study hard and study rigorously. At the age of 24, he was elected in the fourth year of Xuande (1429). In the first year of Zhengtong (1436), he was a Jinshi in the examination, and was awarded the title of Xuezheng in Binzhou (now Nanning, Guangxi).
The early days of being an official
Due to the lack of funds and cultural backwardness, Penn returned to Guilin government. When Li Ling took office, she immediately asked the emperor for permission to return to wealth and Fu, so that she could start school and educate talents here. The emperor approved the performance. Li Ling was very happy and devoted herself to cultivating scholars. Her style of study rose and her achievements were outstanding. People and scholars in Pennsylvania were grateful. In 1440, Li Ling went home to mourn for her mother's death. Seeing the narrow roads and alleys in front of the Chaoyang Xuegong gate, the zijiawu house was close to the Xuegong, so he decided to cede his own house land to broaden the Xuegong, which was praised by officials and people in the city. He went to Beijing at the end of his filial piety period and was promoted to Guozi Xuelu after being recommended by the courtiers. During his term of office, the students of Guozi Xuelu had some gifts, but Li Ling refused all of them. Later, he was promoted to be the censor of Jiangxi Province, and became a master of the north. Before long, he moved to Zhan and became a prefect. Zhu Qizhen, the emperor of Yingzong, appreciated him and chose him as the tutor of Donggong.
Late official period
In the first year of Jingtai (1450), Li Lingguan had excellent political achievements and was called into the historical museum to compile the imperial records of the past dynasties. Jingtai five years (1455) promoted to the Ministry of rites with the examiner. In the following year, he was awarded the praise of Honglu temple. On this occasion, Li Lingrong was honored to accompany the emperor to the ceremony, and soon transferred to Taipusi. In the sixth year of Tianshun (1462), Li Ling was appointed as Qian Shi. He was the governor of Jiangxi Province and was called Li tixue. After he took office, because of the long pause of his duty as a school inspector, the scholar's style of study was low. Li was determined to vigorously promote the healthy style of study, so he made every effort to make the scholar respect and correct the style of study. In the Bailudong academy, where Zhu Xi once taught, he hired highly respected Confucians to set up the rules of the cave and give lectures to the scholars himself. He also built a new lecture hall for Lu Jiuling and Lu Jiuyuan and cast statues for them. He was concerned about the students and visited them everywhere. For many students who were unable to attend school because of their poor families, he was so worried that he donated money to support the poor students and provided them with school rates. He hated the students for their hard work. By means of guidance, inspiration, encouragement, strict supervision and other measures, he asked them to learn in a certain direction so as to cultivate talents.
Honor and evaluation
Due to a series of measures taken by Li family, the number of people who return to the Ming religion and respect the great ethics in Jiangxi Province is increasing day by day, and the number of people who win the examination is increasing. Li's painstaking efforts and sweat did not flow in vain, and his contribution is indispensable, which is widely praised. However, because of his honesty, impartiality and conceit, he was envied and slandered by some powerful villains.
