Hou Jin
Hou Jin, a native of Dunhuang County in the Eastern Han Dynasty, was poor when he was young and worked as a servant for others. However, he was very studious and lit firewood at night to study. The imperial court repeatedly asked him to do things, but he refused every time because of his illness. He moved back to the mountains and concentrated on his works. He once wrote on rectifying the world, satirizing the ugly phenomenon at that time. He also wrote Huang de Lun to record the history of that dynasty. Hexi people respectfully called him "Hou Jun".
Life of the characters
Hou Jin, a famous litterateur in the Eastern Han Dynasty (around 190ad), was born in Dunhuang county. The year of birth and death is not known, and the two emperors were alive before and after.
