Li Shangde
Li Shangde is an excellent member of the Communist Party of China, an excellent commander of the Chinese people's Liberation Army and a loyal communist soldier. Retired cadre of the old Red Army in Northern Shaanxi and Tianjin garrison, former commander of Tangshan military division in Hebei Province. He was awarded the people's Republic of China's three level 81 medal, the second level independent freedom medal, the second level Liberation Medal, and the second level Red Star Medal of merit and honor. During the Agrarian Revolutionary War
Li Shangde successively held the posts of red guard team leader of Suide No.1 District, member of CPC Suide No.1 District Committee and leader of red guard team of Suide No.1 District, executive member of CPC Suide County Committee and leader of Suide Red Guard branch, executive member of CPC Suide County Committee and director of Suide military department, executive member of CPC Suide County Committee and independent battalion commander of Suide Red Army. He took part in the three anti "encirclement and suppression" struggles to defend the base areas, took part in the establishment of the Suide Red Army independent battalion, and commanded the dingxianlong battle and Wubao battle and many other anti "clearance and suppression" battles. He was received and praised by Comrade Liu Zhidan. Li Shangde did not fear hardships and made contributions to opening up and consolidating the revolutionary base in Northern Shaanxi. After the independent battalion of Suide Red Army and other red army units in Northern Shaanxi were incorporated into the first corps of the first front army of the Red Army, Li Shangde successively held the posts of deputy monitor, monitor, platoon leader, company deputy director, company branch secretary and company director in the third and first regiment of the first division. the period of Counter-Japanese War
Li Shangde was a company instructor in the independent regiment directly under the 115th division of the Eighth Route Army. In the battle of Pingxingguan, he commanded two platoons to hold fast to yimaling highland, tenaciously blocked dozens of times more Japanese reinforcements than himself, and ensured the victory of the main battlefield. Later, he led his troops to take part in fengjiagou and other battles. During his work in the Shanxi Chahar Hebei military region, Li Shangde first served as battalion instructor, chief of staff of the Third Military Region, chief of staff of the Second Military Region (Longhua detachment), and chief of staff of Yuxian detachment, and then served as chief of staff of Guangling detachment and chief of staff of the Third Military Region in the first military region of the Shanxi Chahar Hebei military region. Under extremely difficult conditions, he took part in the struggle to open up, consolidate, defend and expand the Anti Japanese base areas; under extremely cruel conditions, he took part in and directed dozens of anti sweeping battles, including Laiyuan, xiaolonghua, yansuya, Huangtuling, Fuping, Zijingguan, Tianzhen, etc. In the anti friction, he led the troops to capture sun dianying, commander of the new Fifth Army of the Kuomintang; when commander Nie Rongzhen crossed Zhengtai road twice, he led the troops to attack in front and block back, and successfully completed the escort task. He took the lead in the battle and was wounded again in the battle of Nuanquan town. Li Shangde made an important contribution to defeat the Japanese aggressors and the cause of national independence and liberation, and made immortal contributions.
During the war of Liberation
Li Shangde served successively as the head of the 27th regiment of the 10th brigade, the 18th regiment of the 6th brigade and the 10th regiment of the independent 4th Brigade of the Shanxi Chahar military region. He directed and participated in the battle of Huayuan village, fanshanbao, Jiazhuang, daolazui, Gaobeidian, beianhe, Zhoukoudian and Xushui. In the North South Qiaotou campaign, he was wounded for the third time in the war when he commanded the resistance of mendunzi mountain. Li Shangde made a heroic contribution to overthrowing the dictatorship of the Chiang Dynasty and the Kuomintang reactionaries. After graduating from the senior cadre team of North China military and Political University, Li Shangde stayed in school and successively served as the leader of the second brigade of North China Military University and the third brigade of the Youth Corps. He made positive contributions to the cultivation of military and political talents urgently needed for the liberation of the whole country and to the birth of new China. On October 1, 1949, he was invited to Beijing to attend the founding ceremony of the people's Republic of China on the platform.
After the founding of the people's Republic of China
Li Shangde has successively served as the leader of the second brigade of the cadre corps of North China military and Political University, the deputy commander of Linfen military division, the president and Secretary of the Party committee of the military and political Cadre School of Shanxi military region, the deputy chief of staff of the part-time division of the 15th army of the Chinese people's Volunteer Army, the director of the military communications department of North China military region, the commander of the fourth Reserve Division of the army, and the commander of Wenjiang military division. He was appointed by Premier Zhou Enlai of the State Council in 1958 He was appointed commander of Tangshan army. During this period, he was injured and persisted in his work and made outstanding contributions to the revolution, normalization and modernization of the army. On January 28, 2010, Li Shangde died in Tianjin No.254 hospital at the age of 94.
Rank and honor
In 1955, Li Shangde was awarded the rank of senior colonel of the Chinese people's Liberation Army, and was later awarded the people's Republic of China's three level 81 medal, the second level independent freedom medal and the second level Liberation Medal. In 1984, he was rated as the advanced retired cadre of Tianjin police district. In 1988, he was awarded the second grade Red Star Medal of merit of the Chinese people's Liberation Army; in 2004, the Central Military Commission gave Li Shangde the post medical treatment of Zhengda military region.
Social evaluation
Due to injuries, Li Shangde retired in 1964 with the approval of the Central Military Commission. family life
Introduced by Xiong Kui and Huang Lianqiu, Li Shangde and Lu Shuming married on July 1, 1946 in Kong Village, Laishui County, Hebei Province. The couple have three daughters and two sons. [note] Comrade Lu Shuming, female soldier of the Eighth Route Army, member of the Communist Party of China, daughter of Lu Wenzhi, anti Japanese martyr, and wife of Li Shangde, the old Red Army, was born in Wangma village, Xushui County, Hebei Province on September 14, 1926. In April 1941, his father Lu Wenzhi was arrested by the Japanese aggressors, tortured and killed in Baoding. His mother Lu Chen was also persecuted and killed by the traitors. Lu Shuming, his elder sister and younger brother were secretly sent to the Jinchaji Anti Japanese base of the Eighth Route Army by the underground party. Lu Shuming joined the army in March 1942 and joined the party in April 1943. During his time as a propagandist in the propaganda team of the division headquarters of the first army of the Shanxi Chahar Hebei military region and as a student in wuxiangpo primary school and Yuangang normal school, Lu Shuming made great efforts to study culture, actively publicized the Anti Japanese War, and bravely took part in anti mopping up battles such as laying mines and fighting guerrillas. In July 1946, Lu Shuming served as the Deputy Secretary of the health team of the 10th regiment of the independent fourth brigade of Jicha military region (later Chahar military region), during which he led the health team to rescue the wounded in the battle many times. In January 1949, after finishing his study in the women's College of North China military and Political University, Lu Shuming successively worked in North China Military University, Shanxi military region and North China military region. In response to the call of the Central Military Commission and the order of the Ministry of national defense, Lu Shuming transferred from the army in March 1954 and went to local areas to do communication and security work. On February 25, 1999, Lu Shuming died of illness in Tianjin at the age of 72.
