Development history

Nankunshan National Forest Park was established in 1993 with the approval of the Ministry of forestry of the people's Republic of China. It is located on the Tropic of cancer with a total area of 2000 hectares. It is the center of 129 square kilometers of Nankunshan eco-tourism area. The mountains are undulating with an average altitude of 600 meters. The highest peak is 1228 meters. There are many kilometers of peaks around it, with numerous peaks and vast forest sea.

When there are many streams, it can put down the surplus: if there are few streams, the waterfall is not spectacular enough, and the water stored in the golden cup will overflow again, making the waterfall as usual and the mountain stream flowing continuously. It is said that once there were greedy people who sneaked into the deep pool and tried to steal the gold cup, but who knew that they could see it but could not get in; when they went in, they could see it but could not touch it; when they touched it, they could not get out. No one dares to steal the cup because of greed. This legend first explains the origin of the name of "Guanyintan" and second tells people not to be greedy.

Chuanshuilong waterfall
