Qibao temple was rebuilt in 2000. It has simple, generous and solemn architectural style in Han and Tang Dynasties, including Mountain Gate, bell and Drum Tower, Tianwang hall, Daxiong hall, sutra hall, Dharma hall, sutra library, pagoda and garden. Temple Puhuitang River and henglijing River intersection, unique scenery. Interestingly, the Buddhist halls of the newly built temples in Shanghai are quite spacious and open. There is always enough space for good faith to chant Buddhism in the halls. As soon as they are seated in twos and threes, they show the compassion and harmony of Buddhism. What is striking is that the stone Scripture buildings in the garden and the pagodas in the square are both exquisite and extraordinary. Historically, temples were built on pagodas. Pagodas represent the merits and virtues of the Buddha, and the scripture buildings should be the Dharma bodies of the Buddha. Therefore, the new temples in Shanghai attach great importance to pagodas and scriptures.
