Guide Village

Guide village is located at the foot of Tianmu Mountain in the east of Lin'an, on the Bank of nantiaoxi river at the source of Taihu Lake, close to famous tourist attractions such as shenlongchuan, Taihu Lake source and Tianhuangping.

The forest coverage rate of the village is more than 93%. There are more than 200 towering ancient trees behind the village, all of which are rare tree species such as Liquidambar formosana, Ginkgo biloba, Cryptomeria fortunei and Castanea mollissima. The longest tree age is more than 900 years. It's warm in winter and cool in summer with the fragrance of birds and flowers. The highest temperature in summer is below 30 degrees Celsius. It's a good place for summer. In late autumn, golden gingko and red maple trees paint it as "oil painting with thick ink on mountains", which is one of the most beautiful autumn resorts in Jiangsu and Zhejiang. When the red maple trees fall at random in every corner of the village, the autumn of the guide village will inadvertently enter a beautiful place. There are more than 470 Mu terraces on both sides of the village, which is magnificent. Along the road, there is a day pond. The water is green all year round, and there are groups of swimming fish.

Guidao village takes "Que" as its surname. There are still 100 year old houses, ancient stone tools and ancient iron coins excavated. Water, houses, trees, cultural relics, tombs, surnames, villages, the "seven ancient" gives the guide village unique charm.

If you like to hike, you can choose to hike here from the crossing. This is an excellent leisure hiking route. It is one of the destinations for outdoor photography lovers in Hangzhou every year.
