The Jiangjun Mountain Ecotourism Scenic Spot in the southern suburb of Jinling is surrounded by mountains on all sides. The gurgling mountain springs form a broad river. Eight hundred years ago, General Yue Fei built barriers and ambushed troops here to defeat the powerful enemy Jin Wushu and recover Kangcheng (Nanjing). Chi Lin plank road

Chilin plank road is the most characteristic and representative scenic spot of Jiangjun mountain. In the small forest composed of thousands of Metasequoia glyptostroboides, the sun is covered with shade, and the air is fresh and humid. Strolling on the winding Cunninghamia lanceolata bridge, which is built with water, is full of interest.

Sun Moon Avalokitesvara

The sun and moon Avalokitesvara, carved from the huge rocks of the mountain, is located on the Avalokitesvara on the hillside, which is kind and elegant. The sun and the moon are closely related to the spring and the moon spring. They collect the spring water from heaven and earth and the essence of the sun and the moon. The naturally formed Dharma protecting tortoise stands under the stage of Guanyin with its head held high, which makes people sigh for the miraculous work of nature. General tower

In the spring of 1130 A.D., Yue Fei of the Southern Song Dynasty led the army to build a bulwark and ambush in Jiangjun mountain, defeated the stubborn enemy Jin Wushu, and recovered Kangcheng (Nanjing) at one stroke. About 4200 meters of the old anti gold fortress is a witness of the fierce battle of that year. In order to commemorate the victory of this battle, Jiangjun mountain scenic area built Jiangjun tower and Yuewang temple on the top of the mountain for people to remember. There are reliefs of Yue Fei and other generals on the general tower, and large-scale bust sculptures of Yue Fei in the temple of the king of Yue. The pagoda temple is surrounded by numerous trees and green pine branches. It is an excellent place to enjoy the panoramic view of Jiangjun mountain.

Tips

No cars in scenic spots

Like Xuanwu Lake and Zhongshan Mausoleum, Jiangjunshan scenic area has been banned from cars since June 2012. "Except for special vehicles for emergency, fire fighting, public security, medical and other official duties and management vehicles in the scenic area, other social vehicles are not allowed to enter the scenic area." In addition, bicycle rental business will be set up in the scenic area to solve the problem of tourists.

Limited tours in peak season

For the protection of the ecological environment and the safety of tourists, the scenic spot will implement the "limited" scheme in the peak season. According to the research on the increase in the number of tourists in the early period of free opening of Xuanwu Lake and Zhongshan Mausoleum, the number of tourists in Jiangjun mountain scenic area is expected to reach 3-4 times of the original at the beginning of peak season. Therefore, next, the scenic area will install intelligent devices at the entrance to count the number of people. Because there are many snakes and other pests in the scenic area, camping is very dangerous, so the scenic area will not consider planning a camping area, and the opening hours are 8:30-17:00.
