HUTANG village is located in the West Dongtou township of Wuyi Mountain and the north end of Nanling Mountain. It is 115.19-116.02 degrees east longitude and 25.09-25.55 degrees north latitude. It is adjacent to Taihe Township, Wuping County, Fujian Province in the East and Huichang County, Jiangxi Province in the south. The village is 12 kilometers from east to west and 15 kilometers from north to south. The Hakka culture is very strong.

HUTANG village is the farthest village from Dongtou township. It consists of four villages: shanghutang, xiahutang and Lanwu HUTANG. There are 12 villager groups and 88 households in the village,
765 people, accounting for a quarter of the population of the township, with 319.8 mu of arable land, 10 kilometers away from the township government, has set up a project to build cement road. The village extends in all directions with good traffic environment.
HUTANG village is the largest tobacco planting village in Huichang County, with half of the farmers participating in tobacco planting. The scale of flue-cured tobacco planting has been expanding. In 2010, 1000 mu of flue-cured tobacco was planted, of which more than 200 mu were concentrated in continuous cultivation. The average price of tobacco leaf was 256000 Jin, with an average price of 5.37 yuan. The output value was more than 1.85 million yuan, accounting for 71% of the village's agricultural income. For two consecutive years, it was rated as the county's advanced village in tobacco production, and it is well-known as the first flue-cured tobacco village.
