Luo Shengjiao Memorial Hall

Luoshengjiao memorial hall is located in 68310 military hospital, Wangjian village, Lintong District, Xi'an city. It was officially opened in January 2000 and designated as youth patriotism education base by Lintong District Committee of the Communist Youth League in January 2005. In December 2005, it was listed as the moral education base of primary and secondary schools in Lintong district by Xi'an Lintong district government.

About martyrs

Luo Shengjiao (1931-1952) was born in Xinhua County, Hunan Province. He joined the Chinese people's Liberation Army in 1949, the Chinese New Democratic Youth League in 1950, and the Chinese people's Volunteer Army in the Korean War in 1951. He served as a member of the 141 division reconnaissance team of the 47th army of the volunteer army. In North Korea, he took part in the battle of positional defense in 1951.

On January 2, 1952, in Shitian, Chengchuan County, South Ping'an Road, North Korea, in order to rescue the Korean children who fell into the water, he braved the freezing temperature of minus 20 ℃ to jump into the ice cave three times and spared no effort to rescue the Korean Teenager Cui Ying who fell into the water because of skating. However, he gave his precious life. The leading organs of the Chinese people's Volunteer Army commemorated him with special merit and awarded him the title of "first class model of loving the people of the Chinese people's Volunteer Army", and the Central Committee of the Youth League recognized him as "model Youth League member". The DPRK government awarded him the first-class national flag Medal of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and the first-class soldier Medal of honor. To commemorate the hero, the Korean people changed the names of the river where shitianli died and the mountain where luoshengjiao was buried to "luoshengjiao village", "luoshengjiao River" and "luoshengjiao mountain" respectively. Kim Il Sung, general secretary of the Korean workers' party, Prime Minister of the cabinet of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and supreme commander of the Korean people's army, personally signed the naming decision and inscribed "the internationalist spirit of the martyrs of Luo Sheng Jiao and the Korean people coexist forever" for the monument of Luo Sheng Jiao. As a first-class cultural relic, the inscription was once displayed in the "war Hall of resisting US aggression and aiding Korea" of the Chinese people's Revolutionary Military Museum.

Preparation

Luo Shengjiao memorial hall was built in 1999. During the preparation of the memorial, the army collected hundreds of cultural relics and treasures about the martyrs of Luo Shengjiao, as well as some honorary articles of the company where Luo Shengjiao lived. The memorial hall was officially completed and opened in January 2000, belonging to the 68310 unit of the Chinese people's Liberation Army. In January 2005, it was designated as the youth patriotism education base by the Communist Youth League Lintong District Committee. In December 2005, it was listed as the moral education base of primary and secondary schools in Lintong district by Xi'an Lintong district government. Since the establishment of the museum, military and civilian leaders have visited and inspected the museum for many times. Local leaders and groups also visit the museum from time to time. Since its establishment, more than 60000 people have visited and studied. Inspired by the spirit of Luo Shengjiao, the advanced deeds of his armed reconnaissance company were reported by CCTV, Shaanxi TV, Xi'an TV, Weinan TV, Lintong TV, China Youth Daily, Liberation Army Daily, people's Army Daily, Beijing Youth Daily, Xi'an evening news, Chinese business daily, this morning's daily, Weinan daily and other media.

Exhibition

Luo Shengjiao memorial has a total construction area of more than 150 square meters, and its layout is regular. There are large exhibition hall, honor room and inscription room in the museum.

The large exhibition hall is located in the center of the whole memorial hall, which is the main body of the museum. More than 100 items, such as ginseng, vases, clothes and cloth, are displayed in the hall, including relics of martyrs of Luo Shengjiao, honors and gifts given by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to Luo Shengjiao. There are also certificates, medals and good news awarded by Guangzhou Military Region to Luo Shengjiao's armed reconnaissance company, as well as related exhibits such as picture books and scripts adapted from Luo Shengjiao's deeds. There are five small exhibition halls in the large exhibition hall, which are respectively displayed in five parts: hard childhood, devotion to revolution, heroic feats, eternal fame and red top soldiers. Through more than 160 pictures, it shows Luo Shengjiao's life and his company in stages, with pictures and texts, vividly showing the glorious image of Luo Shengjiao's martyrs.

The inscription room displays inscriptions of many military and civilian leaders, such as general Zhang Zhen, vice chairman of the Central Military Commission, Wen Zongren, political commissar of Lanzhou Military Region, Bai Qingcai, governor of Shaanxi Province, and more than 20 calligraphy works of leaders at all levels.

The honor room displays more than 90 honor banners and certificates in chronological order. Among them, there are four banners awarded by the Democratic Republic of Korea to the armed reconnaissance company, as well as 69 certificates won by the company over the years. From another perspective, these banners and awards show the enterprising spirit of Luo Shengjiao's successors, who live up to the great trust of the martyrs and the ardent expectations of the leaders, and strive hard to create brilliance. Through these honors, the glorious battle history of the armed reconnaissance company where Luo Shengjiao is located is presented to the audience.
